The HP ProCurve Switch 224M is an economical solution for providing 24 ports of dedicated 10Mbps Ethernet switching performance to the desktop, with two 10/100Mbps fat pipes for high-speed connection to a server or network center, and HP Proactive Networking for maximum control, uptime and performance. The HP ProCurve Switch 224M is ideal for low-cost dedicated 10Mbps desktop switching for small- to medium-size groups of users.Its Port mirroring lets you monitor the entire network with a RMON probe on only one port and the IP multicast (IGMP) software it comes standard with prevents flooding of multicast video traffic and supports QoS for IP multicast traffic.
