Description

The Adtran NetVanta 838T is a network termination unit, commonly referred to as NTU. The NetVanta 838T NTU is differs from the 834T because it supports eight two-wire eSHDSL loops instead of only four. The NetVanta 838T has four 10/100Base-T Ethernet ports along with a single DCE configuration port and LED indicators located on the front of the unit. The Adtran 838T can be configured via the command line interface (CLI) and has remote management capabilities with Virtual Terminal or Telnet.
