Nortel Networks offers an additional AC power supply for the Backbone link and concentrator node routers (BLN/BCN). BLN supports up to two power supplies. BCN supports up to four power supplies. Gate access management entity (game) operating system generates an event message in response to any change in the status of each power module. When inserted the hardware platform automatically redistributes the load among all power modules.
