This dual-speed card is designed for the highest performance for use with application servers. The card includes an on-board i960 processor and a huge 2MB of memory to further minimize the use of the server CPU, which translates into greatly increased throughput. Like all EtherExpress Cards, it automatically senses what speed the hub is running at and adjusts itself accordingly, making it easy to migrate to 100MBPS in the future.
