Description

The 3Com Ethernet power source enables companies with NBX telephones or 3Com wireless access points to connect and power these devices throughout their organizations from a single location, using their LAN cabling. With the EPS located in a secure wiring closet or other central location, administration can easily access and manage the distribution of power to devices. EPS eliminates the need for a local power outlet and power cable for each device. One wire provides 10/100BaseT and power. Now 3Com wireless access points can be installed in a warehouse or manufacturing facility ceiling with a single wire. Installing wall-mounted telephones in a kitchen or common area is just as easy.
