Seagate’s Hornet 20, an internal Travan TR-5 tape drive, provides a cost-effective, entry-level storage system for desktop and laptop applications, servers and high-end workstations. The Hornet 20 allows you to backup up to 20GB of data on a single cartridge, using software data compression. It has an ATAPI interface and features a compressed backup rate of 120MB per minute. The Hornet optimizes its transfer rate using the unique FastSense feature, delivering transfer rates up to 1000KB per second.
