Shipping Policy

Shipping Locations & Carriers

We ship orders from our warehouses in the United States.

  • UPS is used for most domestic shipments
  • USPS is used for military APO/FPO addresses

Shipping Costs

Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on:

  • The actual weight of your order
  • The shipping method selected at checkout

Shipping charges are displayed during checkout before you place your order.
If an order ships in multiple packages, shipping is charged only once for the entire order.

Order Processing & Payment

Orders are processed as soon as possible after being placed.

Important: Your payment method will not be charged until your order has shipped.

Estimated Transit Times

Transit times begin once the order has shipped and are estimates only:

  • UPS Ground: 3–8 business days
  • UPS 3 Day Select: 3 business days
  • UPS Second Day Air: 2 business days
  • UPS Next Day Air: 1 business day

Delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

International Shipping

International orders may be subject to:

  • Customs duties
  • Taxes
  • Brokerage or carrier fees

All such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
ZDTronic.com is not responsible for delays or costs related to customs clearance.

Force Majeure / Shipping Delays

ZDTronic.com is not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, or epidemics
  • Labor disputes, strikes, or carrier delays
  • Government actions, customs inspections, or regulatory changes
  • Transportation or utility failures

Shipping will resume as soon as reasonably possible after the event.

Shipping Fees

Shipping charges are non-refundable, except where required by law or if an error occurs on our part.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Return Authorization (RMA Required)

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Use our RMA system  or Contact Customer Service via email with:

  • Order/invoice number
  • Product serial number (if applicable)
  • Reason for return
  • Requested action (refund, replacement, repair)
  • Whether the product has been opened

RMA numbers expire 14 days after issuance. Unauthorized returns will be refused.

Return Eligibility

Products must be:

  • In original condition
  • 100% complete with original packaging, manuals, accessories, and documentation

Returns are subject to inspection and approval.

Non-Defective Returns

  • Non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee
  • Must be initiated within 30 days of the original invoice date
  • Refunds or store credits are issued after inspection and approval

Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method once all return conditions are met. This helps prevent chargebacks.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not returnable:

  • Items damaged due to misuse or abuse
  • Items missing accessories, UPC codes, or serial numbers
  • Gift cards and prepaid cards
  • Batteries, ink, and other consumables
  • Opened software, video games, DVDs, or similar items

Defective or DOA Products

Defective or damaged items are handled in accordance with:

  • Manufacturer warranty terms, or
  • Our Warranty Policy for Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) products

Notify us promptly upon delivery. Return shipping for defective items may be covered as outlined in our Warranty Policy.

Return Shipping & Risk

Customers are responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Risk of loss or damage during return shipment

We recommend using insured shipping with delivery confirmation.

Return Processing Time

Returns are typically processed within 5 business days of receipt and inspection. Refunds are issued after inspection confirms eligibility.
