Description

The FCM provides integrated FDDI workgroup and server concentration with LAN switching.
FCM enables connection of any port to any of the three CoreBuilder 6000 FDDI backplane rings. Single-attached stations (SAS) can be connected to FCM ports, or dual-attach stations (DAS) can be dual- homed to FCM ports to provide fault tolerance.
