Description

The Hub 10 cascade converter enables the Dual Speed Hub 500 to be stacked with SuperStack II Hub 10 or LinkBuilder FMS. When stacked together, the 10 Mbps segment on the Dual Speed Hub 500 connects to the 10 Mbps segment of the Hub 10/FMS.

Optional cascade converters enable the Dual Speed Hub 500 to be stacked with 3Com’s family of Ethernet hubs. This protects your investment in 10 Mbps hubs by allowing them to be expanded with 10/100 Mbps capabilities. When stacked together, the hubs can be managed as a single entity to provide simplified management and monitoring of mixed stacks. The Kit includes a Cascade Module that slots into a Hub 10, FMS, or FMS II hub, one 30-cm dual speed Hub 500 cascade cable, and documentation; it also provides for seamless data connectivity and integrated management of the entire stack.
